Development and Planning of Related Policy
China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone—Nansha Area of Guangzhou was established in December 2014. Its main task is to develop the innovative technology in Guangdong and Hong Kong, and lanuch preferential policies to attract Hong Kong professionals to work in Nansha including the implementation of cross-border Renminbi (RMB) lending in Nansha; the designation of Nansha as a pilot area for Hong Kong and Guangdong law firms operating in the form of partnership association; and the provision of rewards by Nansha based on the tax differentials between the Mainland, the HKSAR and the Macao SAR for Hong Kong and Macao talents with an annual taxable income of over RMB300, 000.
Establish various economic and technological development zones and industrial parks to develop an investment environment which meets the internation standards, forming a modern industry structure which mainly consists of high and new technology industry.
The Action Plan to Leverage Guangzhou's Strength as a National Core City to encourage Hong Kong and Macao Youths to develop their career in Guangzhou was launched on 1 June 2019 to support the development of Hong Kong and Macao youths in Guangzhou.
The "Implementation Measures of the Guangzhou Haungpu District and Guangzhou Development District to support Hong Kong and Macao youths in innovation and entrepreneurship" on 3 July 2019, and a number of youth innovation entrepreneurship bases are established to offer young people of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao a wide range of support services to encourage youth innovation and entrepreneurship.
