Development and Planning of Related Policy
Youth entrepreneurship base for Hong Kong and Macao youths in the Zhongkai high-tech industrial development zone commenced operation in 2016. It is a platform connecting people in Hong Kong and Macao, local resources and overseas innovative resources.
In 2017, the City Youth Innovation Entrepreneurial (Daya Bay) Demonstration Base was established. The base cooperated with well-known educational institutions to attract high-end technology teams to invest in Daya Bay with a focus in developing emerging industry, such as Internet of Things, information technology and smart applications, etc.
In June 2019, "Implementation Measures for Setting up Start-Up Incubation Bases for Hong Kong and Macao Youths in Zhongkai, Huizhou" was issued. Measures included Hong Kong and Macao youths with start-up businesses in Huizhou may enjoy the same treatment for start-up training, employment, rental and housing subsidies as local residents.
