Development and Planning of Related Policy
In 2018, "Three-year Action Plan on Promoting Technical Innovation in Industrial Enterprises of Guangdong Province" was issued to put forward the acceleration of the transformation of traditional enterprises such as cement, stones, non-ferrous metal, etc. and develop emerging industries with a high priority, such as information technology and high-end equipment manufacturing.
In 2019, "Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" was issued wo support the development of innovation in biomedical technologies in Zhongshan, and join hands with Macao to develop the national biomedicine innovation and technology zone.
In June 2019, "Work Plan for Strengthening the Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Hong Kong and Macao Youth" was issued and launched multiple measures such as start-up training, employment and rental subsidies, etc. to attract talents from Hong Kong and Macao.
"Work Report of Zhongshan Municipal Government" issued in 2020 pointed out that Zhongshan would actively promote the construction of the administration building of "digital government" and reform the vetting and approval system of works, so as to enhance Zhongshan's business environment.
