Zhuhai is located at the central part of Guangdong Province, adjacent to Hong Kong and Shenzhen in the east, Macao in the south, Jiangmen in the South and Zhongshan in the north. It is one of the main coastal ports of China.

Development and Planning of Related Policy
on 14 August 2009, Hengqin Island was incorporated into the Zhuhai Special Economic Zone. . Hengqin focuses on the development of four industries, namely business services, leisure entertainment and tourism, science, education, research and development, as well as high-tech industries. 24 March 2015, The Hengqin New Area of Zhuhai in the China (Guangdong) was incorporated into China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
In June 2019, Notice of Zhuhai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on the Action Plan for Promoting the Construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was issued to take forward the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the areas of employment, social security, talents and public services; The "Implementation Measures for Enterprises providing housing (rental and living) subsidies for newly introduced mid-level to senior professional and technical talents, highly-skilled talents and youth talents in Zhuhai" was published in the same month, eligible Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan youth talents may apply for housing subsidy.
There are a number of preferential policies for Hong Kong people and enterprises in Hengqin, including rebate on the amount of income tax for Hong Kong residents, and imposition of enterprise income tax at a discounted rate of 15% for eligible Hong Kong enterprises.
Different youth innovation entrepreneurship bases are established to provide entrepreneurs with support on technical development, entrepreneurship training and financing, etc., attracting Hong Kong people's investment in Zhuhai.
