In 2014, CLP Power HK Ltd appointed Hargreaves to deliver electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant and equipment across three major power stations in Hong Kong. Hargreaves supplied all appropriate manpower and equipment to maintain services across the CLP portfolio.
After the initial five-year NEC contracts, CLP awarded Hargreaves the role of principal maintenance contractor until 2024.

Tubes within the 4 B-station condensers have exceeded their life and a replacement is needed. HIS (HK) Ltd brought in its specialist engineering team to remove and replace thousands of tubes across two condenser sheets during the 2019/20 outage schedule.
They completed condenser tube replacements using innovative tools to minimise outage time and reduce noise.
HIS (HK) Ltd provided the materials, consumables, tools, equipment and supervised labour for the installation of an additional submersible pump at the discharge of Coal Yard Effluent Pump No. 1 in Lamma Power Station.
